These terms cover pines.rocks and the software published by Pines Rocks. Using the site or the software means you accept them.

Who provides it

Pines Rocks builds, publishes and supports the software. Pines Voice is free. You may install it on machines you control and use it for personal or work purposes.

Your account

Pines Voice needs a Pines Rocks account. You sign in with Google or with an email and a password. Keep your sign-in to yourself, and use an email address you can receive mail at. You can ask us to delete your account at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms.

Acceptable use

Do not resell or redistribute the software, interfere with the service behind it, or use it to break the law. If you bring your own API key for a transcription provider, that provider’s terms apply to what you send them, and any charges you incur there are between you and them.

No warranty

We build these tools carefully and use them ourselves every day. We do not promise that the software is free of defects, that it will suit a particular purpose, or that it will work uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, the software is provided as is, and Pines Rocks is not liable for losses arising from its use. Some features depend on services we do not control, such as a transcription provider or Apple’s operating system.

We may change or stop offering a product. If these terms change materially, the date at the top changes with them.
