Refunds

Software you cannot get your money back from is software you should think twice about buying. Here is how it works.
Try it before you pay
Where a Pines Rocks product is sold, it comes with a full trial first. For Pines Voice that is fourteen days of the complete app, nothing withheld, no payment method required. The trial is the honest way to find out whether it works on your machine, in your apps, with your voice, before any money changes hands.
Who to ask
Purchases are made through Polar, our merchant of record. Because Polar is the seller on your receipt, refunds are processed under Polar’s refund policy and through Polar’s systems. You can request a refund by replying to your Polar receipt, or through the customer portal linked from it.
You can also simply write to support@pines.rocks and we will help you get it sorted. If something is broken, tell us that too, because quite often we can fix the problem faster than the refund clears.
What we ask of you
Nothing elaborate. We do not require a reason, and we do not ask you to prove anything. If the product is not what you expected, that is reason enough. We only push back on abuse, such as repeatedly buying and refunding the same product.
Statutory rights
Depending on where you live, you may have statutory rights to cancel a digital purchase. Those rights sit on top of this policy and are not reduced by it. Because Polar is the merchant of record, Polar administers them.
